December Vacation Week 2011 Join us at four different locations for our Creative Cooks and CSC: Crazy Science Creations. Programs for kids ages 5-11. We will start our fun filled day creating and baking yummy food! We will also learn some of the basics of cooking and how to be safe in the kitchen during our hands on program. While we wait for our fruit creations to bake, we will play fun games and gain new skills. Activities will be in age appropriate small groups lead by safe, trained and qualified adult Camp Fire USA staff. Food used and made, will be peanut free. Crazy Science Creations involves the mysteries of science through light and color. What can we really see? Kids will explore fingerprinting, secret messages, and build a periscope. Younger children will create a kaleidoscope. We will have so much fun discovering science around us we will forget that we were even learning. Who knows what else we may discover? And a little about our staff: our programs are led by current after school instructors and summer staff. Our staff go through a in-depth screening and training program, not only are they safe but they also have a passion for children, fun and learning.
