School Vacation Programs

In collaboration with the town of Weymouth Recreation Department, we will offer an Outdoor Explorer Vacation Week program, April 22-25, 2008. The program will be located at Great Esker Park in Weymouth, MA. The program is for youth ages 6-12 years of age. Each day the program will have a morning and an afternoon program offering flexibility for families. Full day programming is also available. A discount will be given to siblings and signing up for full days.

Outdoor Explorer will focus on the out of doors including hiking, camping, outdoor cooking, nature crafts, games and environmental education. Each group will offer age appropriate activities that are fun and memorable tied to a daily theme. Camp Fire USA will provide the programming and staff for this new program collaboration.

While we will ask participants to dress for the weather we will also use the new Environmental Building for sections of our daily program as well as for the inclement weather.
