Camp Ponkawissett has been offering children age 6 - 13 a refreshing summer day camp experience for more than twenty years. Camp Ponkawissett is located in the beautiful Blue Hills in Canton, MA at Ponkapoag Outdoor Center.

The mission of Camp Ponkawissett is to provide a quality summer program promoting understanding, integrity, community, awareness, self expression, and wellness for a diverse population of kids. The goal of Camp Ponkawissett is to create a safe, welcoming community in which our campers can experience enriching and challenging activities every day.

Campers spend their day in the great outdoors in a age appropriate, co ed small group with two counseling staff. Activities for campers include swimming, swim lessons, cooperative games, sports, creative arts, nature exploration and education, hiking, camp skills, and singing.

Camp is a fantastic opportunity for kids to spend their summer by having fun, being active, learning and are safe.

Our staff are caring individuals dedicated to the safety, enjoyment and growth of your child. Each staff member actively participate in a full week of staff training and on going in service training. Prior to selection of staff, each applicant requires child care experience, a dedication to the Camp Fire USA’s core values, three positive references as well a clear Criminal Offenders Record Check (CORI) and Sexual Offender Record Check (SORI).
