Camp Fire USA Small Group Programs are available to existing before-school, after-school and out-of-school care programs. Our staff will assess your needs, and customize Camp Fire USA’s developmentally appropriate curriculum to strengthen the quality of your program!
Our programs are designed to deliver real outcomes including caring, confidence and leadership skill building.

On-Site Training and Assistance
We will guide you through a self-assessment, resulting in a quality improvement plan featuring Camp Fire USA programming. We'll train your staff to implement this program, including customized curriculum planning. And we don't stop there - we're available for ongoing technical assistance whenever you need help!
Flexible Curriculum
The Camp Fire USA program focuses on five areas: creativity, self-discovery, family, future, and the environment. It's user-friendly and flexible, helping reduce lesson-planning time and allowing staff more time with the children. The program can be implemented in many different ways - daily, weekly, or as a choice among other choices - whatever suits your needs!

Community and Family Involvement
Camp Fire USA's newest program model is the Community Family Club, featuring activities for the entire family! What a terrific way to get your parents involved in the program, and develop improved community relationships!
Evaluations and Surveys
We also provide pre and post surveys for our partnership program on outcomes, as well as on the program experience for youth and staff.
First Aid and CPR Training
For a reduced rate, our Medic First Aid Instructor can provide Pediatric and Adult CPR and First Aid training at your site. The certification is good for two years. We do require a minimum of 6 staff and a maximum of 12 staff. Our reduced rates for both certifications are $40 per person.

For 6-8 Week Direct Service Programs
Camp Fire USA EMC staff delivers 6-8 week programs in your agency setting. Programs can be used as a part of classroom time as well as the after-school setting. The programs are 45 minutes to 1 hour, typically delivered once a week. Programs available:
- I'm Safe and Sure: Teaching K-1st graders self help skills such as personal safety and avoiding harmful situations.
- I'm Peer Proof: Teaching 3rd-4th graders skills to resist negative peer pressure, bullying and teasing.
- I'm Taking Care: Teaching 5th-8th graders basic child care, babysitting job skills and safety/first aid.
- Gift of Giving: For elementary and middle-school youth to choose service-learning opportunities, leadership and teamwork skills.
- World Wise: For elementary and middle-school youth on ecology and environmental issues.
- Custom Programs: Using lesson plans from age-level curricula and the above programs, we are able to create 6-8 week programs to fit your school's diverse need,s including the range from creative arts to cooking activities.
